About Us

Americans of Faith is a non-profit, non-partisan 501.c.3 organization founded in 2004.

Americans of Faith seeks to activate the voices of Christians in an effort to transform the political landscape to reflect the values that are central to the Christian faith. Political participation begins most directly by Christians taking seriously their civic duty to vote. Americans of Faith is dedicated to educating Christians about the issues that directly impact their faith and families, and about the importance of casting their vote.

The voices of America’s Christians are an American voice. We espouse and hold dear many ideals that are central to our faith and nation:

  • Value and respect of one’s neighbor
  • Recognition of the inherent worth and dignity of every human individual
  • In all things, honesty, integrity, and truth

By building a network of local volunteers and advocates and by tapping into existing churches and faith-based platforms, Americans of Faith is creating the essential infrastructure to educate and activate Christians to ensure our voice is heard.

Research indicates that over twenty-four million Christians in America are not registered to vote. Only half of all eligible citizens are even registered—and only half of those registered voters actually vote. As a result, most elections are decided by only one-fourth of the eligible Christian citizens. To address this need, Americans of Faith is dedicated to conducting national, non-partisan voter registration and mobilization drives.

Our ultimate goal is to register and turn out millions of new voters who can call themselves Americans of Faith. Please join us!

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice;
but when the wicked rule, the people groan.”
-Proverbs 29:2
